    FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to the field of fragrance sticks, which are used in particular for scenting rooms, and in particular relates to a fragrance stick and an arrangement of several such fragrance sticks.
    Background Fragrance sticks are known which consist of bamboo, rattan, balsa wood or wicker or made of pressed paper. Such fragrance sticks are placed at one end in a container with a perfumed liquid, in particular an oil. Due to capillary action, the liquid migrates upwards in the sticks and into the part of the respective fragrance stick protruding from the container, where the perfume is released into the room air. Handling the liquid can be cumbersome, and using the scented liquid can pose safety issues with toddlers and pets.
    DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to create an improved fragrance stick with which the disadvantages mentioned can be avoided.
    This object is achieved with a fragrance stick with the features of claim 1.
    The fragrance stick according to the invention, thus consists of plastic and at least one fragrance and at least one dye. The odorant is absorbed in the plastic material in such a way that it is gradually released into the environment. This forms a self-scented stick, which does not rely on an additional fragrance liquid, so that its disadvantages in handling and use are eliminated. However, the fragrance stick according to the invention can be used like a conventional fragrance stick and in particular can be arranged with its end region in a vessel from which it protrudes. In this way, several scent sticks can also be arranged, whereby these can also contain different scents, so that a combination of different scents can be created according to the preference of the user. This was not possible with conventional fragrance sticks that took their perfume from a common liquid. The use of a dye in the fragrance stick allows in particular the identification of differently scented sticks by different colors, which facilitates the combination of fragrances.
    Preferably, the fragrance stick consists of ethylene vinyl acetate, at least one other plastic and the fragrance and the dye. Basically, plastics with a fragrance are known, for example in the form of elastic figures, which are used in automobiles for scenting. For the fragrance stick, the material is selected such that the proportion of ethylene vinyl acetate is less than 30 percent by weight, in particular is less than 20 percent by weight and in particular is less than 10 percent by weight, and the fragrance stick has preferably been obtained by extruding the stick together Fabrics has been obtained.
    In particular, the fragrance stick is formed so that its strength is chosen such that the rod has a deflection of less than 3% and in particular less than 1% due to its own weight with central support. This allows the fragrance stick to be used in an inclined form in a vessel, on the edge of which the fragrance stick rests, without the fragrance stick experiencing an annoying bend with prolonged use. The fragrance rod preferably has a length in the range from 20 cm to 30 cm and the rod cross section is preferably round, in particular circular. This results in a shape approximating that of conventional fragrance sticks. However, it is also possible for the rod cross section to be angular, in particular square. It can further be provided that the rod diameter is 3 mm to 8 mm and in particular 4 mm to 6 mm and further that the respective end has the shape of a truncated cone.

    WAY (S) FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION FIG. 1 shows an example of a fragrance stick 1 which has been formed according to the invention from the substances mentioned, in particular by joint extrusion thereof. The fragrance stick shown has a length L of, for example

    240 mm and a diameter D of 5 mm and is of circular cross-sectional shape. The fragrance stick is preferably adjusted in its hardness such that its deflection is less than 3% and preferably less than 1% when in a horizontal position and with central support. In other words, with the horizontal position and central support, the ends only bend by less than 3.6 mm or 1.2 mm relative to the horizontal due to the weight of the fragrance stick. With such a stable design, the fragrance stick can be arranged obliquely in a container in the known manner, like conventional fragrance sticks, without a disturbing bending of the fragrance stick occurring. Of course, the container does not contain any perfumed liquid when the fragrance stick according to the invention is used. However, the container can contain stones or sand as decoration and to weigh down the container. The scent stick preferably has stepped ends, in particular in the form of a truncated cone, as shown.
    While preferred embodiments of the invention are described in the present application, it should be clearly pointed out that the invention is not limited to these and can also be carried out in other ways within the scope of the following claims.
